Nate maintains a private trombone studio in New York City and online.
Over 18 years of teaching experience have cultivated Nate’s warm, encouraging, and personal teaching style.
As the Head of Brass at Kinhaven Music School Junior Session, Nate works privately and in group settings with brass students ages 10 to 14, as well as co-teaching the student composition program. He has taught college students at the University of Vermont, coaches orchestral brass sectionals, chamber music, and jazz in a variety of youth orchestra and school settings, and continues to work with serious young students as well as adult amateurs at his home studio in New York City, and via Zoom.
Nate offers private lessons for all low brass, as well as individual sessions in composition, improvisation, ear training, and music theory.
